Youth Open Play

How it works
Our Friday Youth Open Play includes informal small-sided and full-sided games open to ages 5 to 15 of all skill levels. This style of street play is important in the development of a creative soccer player.
After check-in, players will gather on field 2 and be separated by PIT staff into teams, and based on age group, play 4v4/5v5/6v6/7v7 format soccer games.
Capacity & Format
- Ages 5-6: 20 Players / 4v4
- Ages 7-8: 25 Players / 4v4 or 5v5
- Ages 9-11: 36 Players / 6v6
- Ages 12-15: 42 Players / 7v7
Registration is restricted to age group. Players cannot register to play up or down.
Rules
- Games end after 5 minutes or first to 2 goals. In larger formats, the time per game may change.
- After a match, the winning team stays on the field and the losing team rotates off. Both teams rotate off in the case of a tie.
- If the winning team has been on the field for 3 (Ages 5-6, 7-8) or 4 (Ages 9-11, 12-15) games, both teams rotate out.
- Last hour is King of the Field for larger groups.
- Games are friendly in nature. Any excessive fouls or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate dismissal from the field for the remainder of the session and possibly beyond.
Price
$15 per player, regardless of age.
Due to the increased popularity of youth open play, we highly recommend that all players have registered and paid prior to session time.

PIT Soccer Academy is hosting TWO Morning Youth Open Play sessions in February!
Friday, February 13th: Ages 7-12
Monday, February 16th: Ages 5-12
Time (Both Dates): 9am – 12pm
Price: $15/player
*Friday Evening Youth Open Plays will resume as normal*
This event is Drop-Off/Pick-Up ONLY. Doors will close at 9:15am and pick-up will begin at 12pm on the second door on the south face of the PIT Frisco building.

Want to get your child on the field, but don’t want to commit to a weekly training program? We will be hosting two Open Play Days in November for kids age 4-6. There will be soccer games and activities for all participants to enjoy! What are you waiting for?
Event Dates: November 11th & 18th from 10am-11am.
