League Rules - adult 7v7
Frisco Indoor
Conform to IFAB Laws of the Game unless otherwise stated:
Rosters:
- Players must meet the minimum age requirement to be added to any team (Over 30 League allows 3 age 27-29 players per game, and Over 40 allows 3 age 37-39 players per game).
- All teams competing in the Adult 7v7 Leagues must be formed outside of our facility (Individual players will not be registered or placed on any teams competing in our league).
- Maximum Roster size is 21.
DIVISIONS
- Individuals may play on different teams, provided they are on the both teams’ roster, and they are not competing on two teams within the same league/division.
Game structure
- The match will consist of two equal 25-minute halves, with a 5 minute break.
- Free kicks may be direct or indirect.
- Off-Side calls are determined past the (red) buildout line.
- If the ball hits the ceiling during indoor play, an indirect free kick will be given to the other team. If the point of impact was between the red lines, the ball will be placed on the midline. If the point of impact was not in between the red lines, the ball will be placed on the closest red line.
- Each game should have two referees. Referee fees are included in team fee.
- Post-season ties go directly to penalty kicks.
game day Procedures
- Each player will need to check-in at the front desk and hand their playercard to the front desk staff.
- Referees will verify that all players have a playercard before kickoff. Players without a valid card (or temporary card) will be sent off the field until they receive one from the front desk.
- Referees may start the clock but will not allow kickoff until there are at least 5 valid players from each team.
player safety
- No Sliding allowed.
- Blue Cards (The player sits out and the team plays down for 2 minutes)
Substitutions
- Free substitutions can be made at any time.
- Player must be past the red line on the way off of the field before the substituting player may step onto the field.
Equipment
- All players must have a same shade jersey as their team.
- All players must wear shin guards that are covered by socks.
- Players will be sent off the field if they have a shin guard violation until they have the proper gear.
- Size 5 ball is used.
PlayeR ID Cards
- Players must have a valid Player ID on their account to play.
- Player IDs are $25 and last for one year. New Player IDs can be purchased online or from the front desk (Frisco).
- Temporary cards are $5 and will only be valid for one game on the date of purchase.
- New accounts require a valid ID (Driver’s License, Passport, etc.)
Weather
- Our inclement weather policy can be found here.
- Some instances of weather will result in changes to half duration or break frequency in outdoor matches. These can be determined by League Director, facility staff, or referees.
Performance Indoor Training reserves the right to modify league rules at their discretion and will update the website accordingly in the best interest of our guests. The League Director will have the final decision on any suspensions, rule discrepancies, or controversial issues that may arise during or after play.
