Cash Tournament Rules - adult 7v7

Conform to IFAB Laws of the Game unless otherwise stated:
Tournament Details:
- 2-Day Tournament (Saturday, August 31 & Sunday, September 1) – Knockout Stage Sunday
- Two 7v7 fields
- 16 teams, 4 groups
- Roster size: 15 Players
- 2 Referees per field
- 3 point system (3 for a win, 1 for a tie)
- Group Stage: 3 games guaranteed
- Knockout Stage: Top 2 teams from each group (Quarters, Semis, & Final)
Time
- Group Stage & Quarterfinals: 20-min halves, 5-min halftime
- Semi-Final & Final: 25-min halves & 5-min halftime
- Final: During the last 10 minutes of the match, the clock will be stopped when the ball goes out of bounds.
- Forfeits: 10-min grace period from start of game before forfeit is called. Forfeits are worth 3 points.
Rules
- Indirect kick-ins ONLY
- Free substitutions
- Goalkeeper has 8 seconds with ball before an indirect kick penalty is issued
- Every team must have 2 jersey options (white & dark)
- Home Team: White Jerseys
- Away Team: Dark Color
- Tie Breakers (going to Knockout Stage) will be determined in this order: Head-to-Head > Goal Diff > Goals Against > Goals For > Least Cards
- Quarterfinals Overtime: Penalty Kicks
- Semifinals & Final Overtime: 5-min halves followed by Penalty Kicks
- No Offsides
Check-In & Roster Forms
- Group Stage: One representative from each team will need to check-in one hour before kickoff. They will have to fill out a form and pay for 3 games’ referee fees. They will receive the wristbands for the players.
- Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final: Payment for referee fees will be collected prior to each game and each team will obtain another roster form
- Players will not be able to play without wristbands
- All players must be registered on their teams’ registration form prior to the game. Any team or player determined by the event director to have falsified name, age, or skill level will be kicked out of the tournament.
- A player may only play on one team during the tournament
Infractions
- Yellow Card: Team plays a man down for 2 minutes, or until they score a goal. Duration increases to 6 minutes if a second yellow is given, and that player will be suspended.
- Red Card: For the remainder of the match, the team will play a man down and that player will be suspended.
- Suspensions: One Red card or Two Yellow cards in one match will incur a $100 fine or an additional one-game suspension.
- The Tournament Director may suspend a player for the remainder of the tournament.
- In the case of a roster infraction, the team will lose points
Equipment & Uniforms
- Teams are responsible for providing game balls
- All players must wear shin guards and may not wear anything deemed dangerous to the referee or tournament officials
- You may play in cleats or indoor soccer shoes, as long as there are no metal studs
- All players will have to play in uniforms of the same color. Goalkeepers will have to wear a different color than their teammates and other the team.
- All teams must have at least two different sets of uniforms (distinct colors). If, in the referee’s opinion, both teams have similar colors, then the home team must change the colors.
- All uniforms must have different numbers on the back at least 8 inches tall.
Fees & Prizes
- $2,500 per team to enter tournament
- 1-Day Entry Fee: $10 / 2-Day Entry Fee: $15
- 1st Place Prize: $15,000
- 2nd Place Prize: $2,500
Performance Indoor Training reserves the right to modify league rules at their discretion and will update the website accordingly in the best interest of our guests. The Tournament Director will have the final decision on any suspensions, rule discrepancies, or controversial issues that may arise during or after play.
