Beginners Rules - youth 3v3

Frisco Indoor

Conform to IFAB Laws of the Game unless otherwise stated:

Rosters:

  • All teams competing in the Beginners Youth Leagues must be formed outside of our facility (Individual players will not be registered or placed on any teams competing in our league)
  • Minimum Roster size is 3
  • Dual-Rostering is allowed

SCHEDULING

  • When submitting your Conflict Request Form, your team MUST be available for at least 3 weekends
  • Withdrawing from the league after scheduling has begun will incur a $150 fee

Game structure

  • 3v3 play with no out of bounds
  • The match will consist of two equal 20-minute halves, with a 5-minute break.
  • All free kicks are indirect.
  • Free substitutions
  • This is a developmental league that allows the coaches on the field
  • 20-25 min games
  • Two halves

Restarts & dead balls

  • Kick-offs to start the game, begin the second half, and after goals
  • Kick-ins for balls leaving the playing area or after fouls
  • Two players on the ball during kick-ins
  • Defenders must remain 5 meters away

game day Procedures

  • Each player will need to check-in at the front desk to receive a wristband.  Players will only need to check-in one time per day.
  • Staff will verify that all players have wristbands before kickoff. Players without a wristband will be sent off the field until they receive one from the front desk.

player safety

  • No sliding allowed
  • No headers allowed

Substitutions

  • Substitutions are unlimited during the games and are made at any time

Equipment

  • All players must have a same shade jersey as their team
  • All players must wear shin guards that are covered by socks
  • Players will be sent off the field if they have a shin guard violation until they have the proper gear
  • Size 3 ball is used

Player Membership

  • Players must have a valid Player ID on their account to play. Guest players are also required to have a Player ID.
  • Player IDs are $25 and last for one year. New Player IDs can be purchased online or from the front desk (Frisco).

Weather

  • Our inclement weather policy can be found here
  • Some instances of weather will result in changes to half duration or break frequency in outdoor games. These can be determined by League Director, facility staff, or referees.

Performance Indoor Training reserves the right to modify league rules at their discretion and will update the website accordingly in the best interest of our guests. The League Director will have the final decision on any suspensions, rule discrepancies, or controversial issues that may arise during or after play.
